Now we’ve been through a whole year of these posts. Not to be messed with, the universe is still making things happen. The year is going by and the seasons are changing. Again.
While looking through these I noticed that due to sorting out the house, and because that pretty much took up most of August and even spilt over into September, this set is fairly July heavy. But don’t panic it still has more than the last one. So, without any further hesitation, strap yourselves in. Let’s go!
We had a bit of a walk around Ombersley and down by the river on what must have been one of the hottest days of the summer.
During our week off we had a few day trips, as Em mentioned in one of her posts we went to Hay on Wye for one of the days.
Oxford was the scene for another day. We had some flipping amazing smoked salmon sandwiches and tea in The Grand Café. Which claims to be on the site of England’s first ever coffee house.
We had a bit of a nose around the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.
August seemed to be beer festival after beer festival (not that it’s any kind of complaint). The one with by far the biggest selection of beers was the Worcester Beer Festival.
In what is becoming a regular event. Again I had the possibly best blueberry muffin available to humanity at Bolero Caffe.
