Studio Denley X Rail Model

Studio Denley has teamed up with Rail Model to produce designs for scale model kits for model railway enthusiasts. Having previously worked with them to refresh their brand identity, it was a natural move to work with them to develop this new range of products. The models are precision laser-cut from MDF and come in kit form for model makers of all abilities to enjoy putting together.

All of the models have a modernist influence and would look equally at home in any era of set-up from the 1950’s onwards. These first two models focus on the ‘back-wall’ environment of railway modelling, a sometimes tricky section of layout that needs a good deal of detail in order to continue the illusion.

Though they aren’t just for railway modellers, the kits are designed to work for any keen diorama maker or kit-bashing experts. Or indeed for anyone who simply wants to make a model of a mid-century style building. The kits are available to buy through the Rail Model website.

The project fits with Studio Denley’s ethos of always experimenting and exploring opportunities to collaborate while furthering skills that ultimately benefit clients. It’s always a joy to work with other creatives, especially to produce physical products. This has been a goal of the studio from its beginnings and something that will continue to play a part in its journey.
